I do not recommend this tactic for everyone. However…we should all come to a point in our fitbattle where we can take off the training wheels and maintain a healthy diet without feeling like it’s a lot of work. Logging food is work.

You’d think I’d asked the person how much they weigh or what age they were when they lost their virginity. Oh my! It’s clear if you are carrying around some extra pounds that you are eating carbs. This is not a dirty little secret it’s how we eat.

It felt good to run again. It actually gave me a new appreciation for the treadmill. You know…distance makes the heart grow stronger.

I felt like I had a point to prove. I was the oldest person in Boot Camp and there was no way I was going to come in last all three times for the sprints. I may have been the oldest but I was definitely in better shape than some of the other participants. Plus I’m just a little competitive.

When it’s time for me to weigh in and get my measurements with my trainer I treat my last few workouts before the big day as the “last chance workout”, just like on the “Biggest Loser”. I give more…summon every ounce of strength and endurance…to make sure the weigh in and measurements are as good as possible.

Everyday it’s kind of like Russian roulette…which soap dispenser should I choose? Will it work? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.
