I learned that she craves Taco Bell, primarily their tacos. So I suggested that she make her own healthy tacos using extra lean ground pork, low sodium taco mix, low-fat sour cream, low-fat cheese, and low-carb low-fat soft tacos. Oh yeah and top it off with salsa – as much salsa as she wants since it’s fat-free.

This is both an emotional and financial commitment that you should not take lightly. If you are emotionally committed there’s no doubt you’ll find a way to make it work. So start slashing…number of cable channels, shoe shopping, eating in vs. eating out, iTunes, Starbucks, cigarettes??? What are you willing to give up to invest in your fitness journey?

Why am I still using a trainer? Need I say more…have you looked at my before and after photos? I know, without a doubt, that I could not have accomplished my current fitness level without my trainers.

You can peel off those layers and expose the person that’s been fighting to escape the prison it’s locked in. For me it was 40 pounds (so far) and all kinds of emotional bad habits.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard that someone I know or close to someone I know has had a stroke or heart attack and guess what? Yep! Cholesterol is a direct contributor to cardiovascular disease, which can lead to strokes and heart attacks.
